Validating our emotions means acknowledging them without judgment or criticism. It means recognizing that our feelings are real, and they matter. Whether we are experiencing joy, sadness, anger, or anxiety, we should allow ourselves to feel those emotions fully.
Validating our feelings doesn't mean we have to act on them or let them control us. Instead, it means accepting them as part of our human experience and learning to manage them in healthy ways.
Your past and present feelings should never be dismissed. They were valid then. They are valid now. And you should experience them unabashedly.
